Okay this is my first tablescape experience. I think I may have overdone it a bit, but it was so much fun. Seems whenever I have guests over for family get together's and holidays that I spend so much energy and time on cooking that the table is usually very basic. So doing this for fun was a real treat. Hi Marla, What a nice way to showcase your special soup tureen! I like your fruit inspired dishes against the pumpkin/leaves runner and the plaid placemat. Is that wheat grass growing in that container? You like to spell with the scrabble letters too, I see.

Its hard to believe you don't ALWAYS set the table so nicely for company when you show us a "first 'scape" like this one! Great ideas, like the scrabble letters! Love the soup tureen as the centerpiece. Napkin rings are gorgeous! Wonderful!
