This was my first project using chalkboard paint.  Also my first time to paint freehand on something.  It probably looks like my first time too, but hey you gotta start somewhere!

I used the chalkboard paint on the bottoms of these clay pots I bought at Lowes.  I really love how these turned out.

  1. I love how it looks on the herb pots! Great idea. I think you did a good job on the bread box~like you said you have to start somewhere. I've never painted something like that before so I think you did great.

  9. I painted most of my outdoor pots with chalkboard paint. I love the matte look and then it's fun to write on them. I did that a couple of summers ago and they are still in great shape. I love how yours look.

I also think your bread box is tres magnifique! I love the little painted details you did around the chalkboard rectangle!

  10. I love chalkboard paint too! I'm always looking around thinking, "Can I paint that with chalkboard paint? How about that or this?"The pots look really cute, so does the bread box, or should I say pain box?

Could Harley and Zach be any cuter???? Do they get along?

Oh how I love home grown tomatoes. They actually taste like a tomato, not just look like a tomato.
