Outdoor Wednesday

I am participating in Outdoor Wednesday over at Southern Daydreamer. Go on over there and see all the beautiful posts.

All these pictures where taken last week here in Gainesville, FL. These first 2 pictures were taken near Satchel's a local favorite pizza place. I will have to do a post on the place in the future, it is a very unique place. I love this fence, it reminds me of a Crazy quilt.

On the same day I found this huge Camelia bush filled with a billion pink flowers.

They amazing creativity of our God.

One of those days when you feel the warmth of sun on your shoulders, but a strong cool breeze that reminds you it is still winter. But you are reminded by the trees and the flowers that new birth is coming with soon arrival of spring.

Just unfolding here.

  3. Thank you for posting something to get me in the mood for spring. here in Maine, nothing is even close to wanting to poke its head out to bloom in this cold and snow. But we know that Spring does come and we have to be patient, that it is worth the wait. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Marla, the Camellias are gorgeous! Seeing flowers this time of year is such a treat.

To answer your question about freezer paper, you can get it the grocery store in the foil section. It is like wax paper only coated with plastic instead. It's my new favorite home improvement tool.

    Have a great weekend.
