Tablescaped Thursday

Okay this is my first tablescape experience. I think I may have overdone it a bit, but it was so much fun. Seems whenever I have guests over for family get together's and holidays that I spend so much energy and time on cooking that the table is usually very basic. So doing this for fun was a real treat. Join me over at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

My pumpkin Turreen in all her glory.

  14. Hi Marla, What a nice way to showcase your special soup tureen! I like your fruit inspired dishes against the pumpkin/leaves runner and the plaid placemat. Is that wheat grass growing in that container? You like to spell with the scrabble letters too, I see.
    Good job with the tablescape.

  17. Marla,

You expressed my thoughts exactly about having parties and not having the chance to set a nice table. At least with larger parties. And with TT, we have a chance to practice!! lol!

Love your soup tureen!! The purple running through it is gorgeous. I like how you have it elevated on the stand. Your dishes are lovely too!!

I hope you have a great weekend!! :-)
